Thank you! So much of this piece resonates with me. I study and teach yoga nidra, a practice of meditation and self-inquiry that helps us to ask the deep questions about what we really want and what we are being called to do. It feels so necessary in this current landscape.

In regards to AI, I'm curious about what ways you have found most effective to learn and engage with it.

So great to hear from you, Julie! Your practice and the self-inquiry that comes from it is so necessary right now, as you say! I am hopefully that so may more of us are doing this that it will make a positive difference in our choices and interactions as humans in the future.

The AI puzzle is just such a vast one that seems so scary to most of us. I already engage with it to edit writing and video (via Grammarly and Descript) and is has saved me tons of time and money, not to mention the guidance in getting better at writing. That being said, as a martial arts instructor, I know that nothing beats human-to-human learning.

I have also been playing with Adobe's AI, Firefly, using the generative fill function with my own original artwork to see how my work guides AI. I am far more interested in leading the creative process with AI than I am giving up my agency to it! I'd love to hear how you and others are engaging as well.

You too Michelle! I haven't used AI much beyond asking it questions and getting suggestions for website SEO descriptions. I just started playing with Firefly and it's been an eye-opening exploration so far. I see what you mean about leading vs. letting it dictate the creative process. Thanks again for the article and invitations to share!
